Winter Wonderland in Covid Times

Dear readers,

How are you doing lately?
We are living in weird times since March 2020… It is not easy for everyone and we all hope Covid will be gone soon. We all want our normal life back.

How am I doing in this period?

I am actually doing fine. All 2020 I had loads of work for medical school so I didn’t have a lot of free time anyway. I think it could have been a lot worse!
However, I frequently think about the people that are suffering under this pandemic. All the loneliness and isolation is really taking its toll.
Not even talking about the people who are living with economical problems because they are forced to shut down their business for many weeks and months.

I feel like it is not appropriate to complain about not being able to go on a holiday or some nice trips when there are people that are suffering a lot harder.
Anyway, my skiing trip got cancelled and that is why I decided to drive to the Ardennes in Belgium to look for some snow.

Honestly, I don’t think we should be obligated to stay inside a house all the time.
I don’t think that is the way to strengthen your immune system. I think it is more healthy to go outside in nature because as long as you don’t go to the crowdy places, it is not any less safe than sitting inside! (And it is more healthy for you to get some fresh air from time to time instead of using hours and hours in front of your screen ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

The snow in the nature of the Ardennes was so beautiful to see, but also pretty cold, haha.

I like to dream about times where there is no Covid anymore and where I would go to.
To be honest, the day we are allowed to travel in a safe way again, I would love to go to the Maledives!
If there is one thing that Covid has allowed us to do, it is saving up for one big exotic holiday.
I think that thought keeps me going for now. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Honestly, I don’t mind the extra me time we are getting because of Covid.
If I am not having internships or work for my study, I love to read some interesting books to broaden my mind.
I am now reading the book ‘The Secret’ and it is about how the law of attraction will help you to reach your goals. ๐Ÿ˜‰ It’s interesting, I must say!

Right now, I also have a lot of new clothing looks I would like to share with you as soon as possible and I am also busy on a video project to show you my life as a medical student.
Even though there is Covid, I still manage to keep myself very very busy!
I honestly don’t think I have a more relaxed life now at all.. :p Quite the opposite.

What about you? Did you find a new passion during Covid or are you actually bored AF?

Will update you soon!!!

XOXO,

Kimmie
